Submit your original Artwork or Photographs for consideration for the cover of the Women's Club Cookbook.

Artwork or photos should represent Green Valley Lake and what it means to all of us!

Rules for submission:

Final submission date- August 31, 2009

The final size of the cover will be 7 X 9 with the artwork final size of 6 1/8 by 8 1/2, however we do not need a "Final" picture submitted. We are looking for artwork or photos that we can use to insert into the cover.See example graphic above.

Submissions should be of the highest resolution possible, 300 at the minimum and should be submitted in .jpg or .tif format. The size should be around 8 x 10 or there about's so that we can manipulate it if necessary.

The final book will be portrait in orientation but sending photos or art in landscape orientation is fine.

We prefer no photos of people.

The cover art contest will be judged during the womens club monthly meeting. I will be the only one who knows who submitted the piece.

The winner will be required to sign a copyright release to the Women's Club of Green Valley Lake.

All entrants agree that the photographs/artwork submitted are wholly owned by themselves.
Furthermore, entrants agree that if their photo is selected, they will not sell the photo or reproductions of the photo and the photo or artwork becomes the property of Green Valley Lake Women's Club.
