The Mountain Community Alliance (formery the GVL Disaster Recovery Foundation) is
a non- profit charitable organization to benefit the commun-ity following a disaster or emergency. This will be achieved by securing resources; providing grants; informing and educating the community; and participating in coalitions with other local organizations to restore, rebuild and make the community safe. for Disaster Preparedness (or GVLCDP) is an organization whose goal is to
promote fire safety awareness and provide the community with assistance during a
wildfire, flood, earthquake, or other disaster. Please click here for more information. Anyone who owns a cabin in Green Valley Lake, whether
they are full-time or a weekender, should consider attending these meetings.

see suspicious behavior going on, call the Sheriff at 336-0600. If it
is an emergency, call 911.
Reminder that operating OHVs is
illegal here. To report illegal activity occurring on the streets, call the CHP
at 388-8000. And if the violation occurs within the
National Forest, call Brad Burns--Law Enforcement Officer for the Forest
