One
thing that cannot be said about Green Valley Lake is that there is nothing to do here. We
may not have video arcades or a mall, but we do have plenty of fishing,
boating, swimming, and hiking. At our brand new Sports
Court we have volleyball, basketball, tennis, and badminton. There are barbecue facilities in
the picnic area. We have a 40-space Forest Service campground and
a museum full of fascinating artifacts. Local musicians get together for jams
every month at the Lake Inn. There are three Artisan Tours a year where folks can check out what the local artists have
been busily creating. In the summer there's a 4th of
July Family Fun Day & Barbecue, and on Labor Day weekend a Water Carnival.
For such a small place, Green Valley Lake offers a lot of fun
for the whole family! |
